Spuhr of Sweden has released a new Picatinny mount, suitable for the Aimpoint Micro and CompM5 series of red dots. It’s called RD-20153, and on an AR-15/M4 style platform the mount offers absolute co-witness, with a height of 39 mm/1.535”. The mount is machined from billet 7075 T651 aluminum, which has then been hard coat anodized. The mount is pretty lightweight at 72g/2.5 oz. From the images, it seems to be a very sturdy mount - the optic and the mount look like one integral part.

Spuhr Mounts @ TFB:

Here’s what Spuhr had to say about their new RD-20153 mount in the datasheet:

“RD-20153
Aimpoint T-2 Mount H39mm/1.53" PIC
Mount for Aimpoint Micro Series and CompM5, Absolute Co-witness
Height: 39 mm/1.535”
Length: 58 mm/2.283”
Weight: 72 g/2.5 oz
EAN: 7340150702328
The RD-20153 is a 39 mm/1.535" high fixed mount for the Aimpoint Micro and CompM5 series (the height is measured from the top of the rail to the centerline of the optics on an Aimpoint Micro T-2).
Based on the form factor of the RDF-series of magnifier-ready Micro mounts, the RD-20153 offers a lightweight mounting solution with increased rail engagement surface.
The RD-20153 was designed for an absolute co-witness on an AR-15/M4 style platform. The mounts are machined from billet 7075 T651 aluminum and all aluminum parts are hardcoat anodized.
NOTE:
The RD-20153 is designed for use with red dot sights featuring the Aimpoint Micro footprint on rifles with MIL-STD-1913 or STANAG 4694 rails.
The mount attaches to the rail using three 10.9 Grade M5x25 Torx 20 Zinc-Nickel treated fasteners. Included with the mount are five Torx 10 screws with TufLok for attaching the sight to the mount.”

Just an FYI - the optic as pictured has an A-0056 plate installed. This converts the ACRO footprint to the T2 footprint.

This mount is for T2 footprint optics.

Spuhr handguard for Mcmillan Alias.so it’s actually not an AR handguard. On the pic you can see one of the very few spuhr handguards that ever been made
