NRAAM 2025: KNS Steyr AUG Gas Regulator
KNS Precision is well known for their adjustable gas plug for AK47/AK74 derivatives. This year at the 2025 NRAAM convention in Atlanta, GA they debut an expansion of this line into a unique platform. Their new unnamed gas plug for the Steyr AUIG brings the same adjustability they are known for into the Austrian bullpup world with a drop in gas regulator.

[NRAAM 2024] Magpul's NEW Lever Action & SIG P320 Furniture
Magpul added another crop of new items to their catalog for 2024, just like they do every year, but this time it’s not just AR stocks and grips. First up, they have a new set of grip modules for the SIG P320 to go along with their P320-compatible AMAGs. Second, Magpul joins the year of the lever action with stocks and handguards for several patterns of lever guns. Hop and Luke visited to check them out but this time they got permission first.

[NRAAM 2024] G43X/48 SF? Shield Arms New Glock Chop Shop

[NRAAM 2024] The NEW Streamlight TLR-7 HL-X
Over the last few months, Streamlight has been quietly stepping up the output on a number of their weapon lights. The latest model to get this treatment is the TLR-7; the new TLR-7 HL-X is a dual-fuel version of Streamlight’s weapon light for compact handguns and has more lumens and candela than the previous version. Hop stopped by the Streamlight booth at NRAAM 2024 to check out their new crop of lights.
[NRAAM 2024] BOE Suppressors Mod-1 Nested Monocore Modular Suppressor
Luke C is at the National Rifle Association’s 153rd Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas, Texas checking out the new BOE Suppressors booth and their new user-serviceable nested monocore modular suppressor – the BOE Mod-1. The Mod-1 is a modification of their Ultra Compact Suppressor lineup. Like their predecessors, the Mod-1 lineup is rated for magnum hunting calibers like 375 H&H or 338RUM. The Mod-1 lineup has improved thermal dispersion, has thicker wear surfaces and can be configured to fit any aftermarket QD setup with 1.375-24 threads. BOE Model-1 should be available for purchase for around $1,200 around the end of June 2024.
[NRAAM 2024] Colt's Big Bears: The New Kodiak, Grizzly Magnum Revolvers
Luke C is back on the floor at NRAAM 20204 talking with Jess from Colt about some of their new revolvers. In addition to a new 8″ long variant of the ever-popular Python line of revolvers, Colt is also re-releasing and updating the compact Viper, and introducing two new Bear-themed revolvers with the new Kodiak and Grizzly magnum revolvers.
[NRAAM 2024] SIG-Sauer is an App Developer Now?
In this episode of TFBTV Show Time, Hop and Phil Strader struggle with technology and respecting personal space. The new SIG Connect app works in conjunction with a sensor module and reactive targets that sense hits and relay them to your phone to track hits, scores, and timing. The app has built-in drills and games that work with SIG’s special reactive targets, but it can also be used to track hits on any printable target. The former is mostly aimed at indoor shooting ranges that may want to add a special challenge to one of their lanes, while the latter is more suited for the individual shooter.
[NRAAM 2024] The S&W GVAC, now in .300 Blackout
In this episode of TFBTV Show Time, Hop visits the Smith & Wesson booth at NRAAM 2024 to check out the new short barreled .300 Blackout version of the S&W/Gemtech GVAC upper. The GVAC system is a bore evacuator that significantly reduces gas blowback to the shooter’s face, which works well in conjunction with Gemtech’s new reduced back pressure suppressor series.

The Fusion Firearms 20X11 pistol is currently available in a 4.5” model but will soon be expanded to include 5” variants. Each 20×11 is compatible with Glock OEM and aftermarket 17 round magazines and retails for about $1,100 making it a more affordable option for those seeking a 2011-style pistol.
[NRAAM 2024] The NEW Shadow Systems CR920X
In this episode of TFBTV Show Time, Hop visits the Shadow Systems booth at the NRA Annual Meeting 2024 to check out the new CR920X. This is a new version of the CR920 micro double stack, with a longer grip that can accommodate a 15-round flush fit magazine or an 18-round extended magazine. The CR920X still has the same optics cut compatible with K-cut red dots, and is available as the flagship Elite model or the more entry-level Foundation model.

Genesis Less Lethal Shotgun: The GEN-12 LL
James Reeves is with the guys from Genesis to talk about their new less lethal shotgun, the Genesis Arms GEN-12 LL. It’s a less lethal shotgun designed with law enforcement use in mind. It features a semi-auto, Mil-Spec AR trigger with AR controls and ergonomics, a 10.5” smoothbore barrel, and a high-visibility orange color for differentiation. The shotgun is designed to fire bean bag less lethal munitions and includes a 5-round magazine and soft case. It’s made with a 6061 aluminum upper, lower, and handguard, and has a delayed blowback mechanism.

The Toughest Reflex Sight Ever? The LAWS-M Optic
James Reeves is at IWA 2024 talking to Mike about the Israeli-made LAWS-M reflex sight, which may be the most durable optic in the world, according to its creator. Designed with urban combat in mind, the LAWS-M has no plastic parts and can hold zero on a .50 caliber machine gun. It includes a BDC reticle and has a long battery life. $2,999 Combo Night Vision and Thermal Scope from PARD
James Reeves is at IWA 2024 visiting the PARD booth to discuss their new digital combo units – rifle scopes that use both digital night vision and thermal. The PARD TD32/TD62 are multi-spectral scopes that offer both thermal imaging and visible light sensors for daytime and nighttime use. These scopes allow for separate or combined use of thermal and night vision imagery, featuring Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode for enhanced observation and identification. They use high-sensitivity thermal detectors with resolutions of either 384×288 or 640×512, and a NETD of ≤25mK. The TD32/TD62 models are equipped with an 800×800 IPS ultra-high definition circular display, offering a comfortable and clear visual experience similar to traditional optical scopes. They also feature a 100mm long eye relief for comfortable extended use, a 1200-yard Laser Range Finder (LRF) with ballistic calculation capabilities, and one-shot zeroing for thermal and night vision channels for precise shooting. These scopes are designed for durability, with an IP67 waterproof rating and 6000J recoil resistance, and they come with replaceable and rechargeable 21700 batteries for extended use.

An Italian Competition AR9: The Carabina Revo
James Reeves visits Revo Arms, designer of the low-bore-axis IS-9 pistol, to see the Carabina Revo AR9. This is an AR15 platform rifle chambered in 9x19mm caliber with barrels available in lengths from 12 to 16 inches. The rifle uses Glock-type magazines, facilitated by a specially designed magazine well. James Reeves talks to the guys at Grand Power about the 10mm Stribog: A variant of the Stribog line of firearms, chambered in the 10mm Auto cartridge. The Stribog is produced by Grand Power, a Slovakian firearms manufacturer known for its innovative designs and high-quality production. The original Stribog models, such as the SP9A1, were chambered in 9mm, but due to the popularity of the platform and demand for more powerful calibers, a 10mm version has been a topic of interest among firearms enthusiasts.

Umarex's Futuristic Rangefinding Less-Lethal AR-type Carbine
James is at the Umarex booth to talk about this wild new less-lethal air-powered AR-type carbine that accepts a wide range of ammunition payloads including OC/pepper powder, less-lethal solid projectiles, and even UV markers. The most interesting part, however, would be its ability to self-regulate its operating pressure and projectile velocity based on the distance to the target, which it detects with a laser range-finding module.
