POTD: The LWRC International IC-A5 Rifle

You’re watching and reading TFB’s Photo Of The Day where the LWRC IC-A5 is the main star today. IC stands for “Individual Carbine”. With an LWRC on order (not this model), I feel like a child before Christmas. I wonder where in the order process it might be?

The IC-A5 is chambered in 5.56 NATO and uses a short-stroke gas piston system.

Today’s image is more to display the different Cerakote colors there are to choose from. Apart from the obvious black, there is Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab Green, Patriot Brown and Tungsten Gray. Spontaneously, it doesn’t feel like LWRC is the kind of company that would offer Zombie Green or Pink.

Which color did I go for? Well, Olive Drab Green rifles are the fastest. Which color do you like best?

Please check back tomorrow for a new bunch of articles, reviews, and cool images.

spiral fluting is something that makes a barrel look like its an airsoft design.

@DanMcKraken Just sharing the opinion of a select few manufacturers doesn't carry much weight. I'm sure there's a lot of companies that simply don't do a good job fluting their barrels, which can result in the things Shilen is claiming can occur, but it doesn't make it a universal truth.
