Strike Industries Unveils NEW LITESLIDE For G43/G43X/G48

It used to be the obsession to melt carry guns down so far for comfort, they lost all of their workability. In the past few years, I’ve seen the pendulum swing. Prepared citizens are training more and finding that sharper edges can lead to increased performance. This is especially important on small fighting guns like the Glock G43, G43X, and G48. Strike Industries looks to add some edges to carry guns with their LITESLIDE series, which has just expanded to include those slimline Glocks.
Strike Industries @ TFB:

Strike Industries Unveils NEW LITESLIDE For G43/G43X/G48
The LITESLIDE for, we’ll say the G48 frame, is machined billet 17-4 stainless steel. It features Strike’s edgy lines, which make for aggressive slide serrations for easier manipulations. It’s cut to accept optics using the Shield RMS pattern, including the Shield RMS, Vortex Defender-CCW, and others. Check the website for compatibility. The slide uses Glock-compatible sights and it’s all made here in the USA. Included with the slide is a cover plate for your optics cut, as well as all the screws you’ll need.

$270 for the stripped slide probably means a street price of around $220. The stripped PSA Micro is $170, so not too bad. The MICRO has a crazy deep optics cut which is great for using standard sights with an optic.
In the past, there was a trend towards making carry guns as small and light as possible, even if it meant sacrificing some performance. However, as more and more people have started training with their carry guns, it has become clear that having a gun that is easy to manipulate and shoot accurately is more important than having a gun that is as small as possible.
