Well, Strike Industries has a solution for that. This is their Dual Folding Adapter, which allows the stock to fold to either side. Leave your braces buried in the backyard because this version is for use with a stock only.

The Strike Industries Stock-Only Dual Folding Adapter
When folded, the adapter has a slightly downward, three-degree angle. This is to make sure it doesn’t get in the way of proper ejection. Users are able to fold their stock to the left or right without having to make adjustments or swap parts. It’s made from 6061-T6 aluminum and interfaces with standard 1913 rails. Other parts are offered as separate purchases, including the optional cheek riser shown in the photos. Also included are four different rubber pads, of different thicknesses, for the butt of the stock.

Most strike stuff is pretty trashy.
But I got some polymer wire management stuff from them that was a fair value.
I love this dual folding design, but I am so tired of Strike's overly detailed and angular design aesthetic. Just give me one of these with a plan looking stock end and I would buy it in a heart beat.
