POTD: Non-Restricted IWI Tavor 7 – 7.62x51mm 20″ OD Green
Over two years ago TFB were one of the first to report about the upcoming IWI Tavor 7 in 7.62×51 mm.
In Today’s Photo Of The Day we’re going to take a look at a Canadian, Non-Restricted, IWI Tavor 7, with a 20″ barrel chambered in 7.62x51mm. The color is OD Green, my personal favorite, but its real color is hard to capture in a picture like this.
For more details on the Canadian Firearms Program, you can check here, under FAQ Q3.
The dangerous end, with 7.62 NATO and 1:12 noted.
As a bonus, lovers of FDE get their share as well.
My understanding is that these firearms are available right now.

That pencil thin barrel will be whipping around like crazy, deeply disappointed in IWI's decision to go as cheap as possible on the most important part of a firearm. A nice bull barrel would make a world of difference in terms of accuracy and holding groups when heated up.
Won't be buying this until there are alternative bull barrels available for it.
I have no idea why I like it, can't have enough guns anyway, strange.
Soon they expected to ship to Germany, I want one with a 30" barrel,
then I will have the LONGEST barrel of all. LOL
