Armed Attorneys | Should I Renew My License or Permit to Carry a Handgun
Is renewing your license or permit to carry a handgun is worth? The Armed Attorneys Emily Taylor and Richard Hayes discuss the key benefits of being a license holder, including preferential treatment in certain situations, the ability to access more sensitive locations, bypassing the NICS background check, and expanded reciprocity with other states. If you’re weighing the decision to renew or let it expire, this video will help you understand how a license or permit still has tons of benefits and can be very convenient.

What is a "Perfect Packin' Pistol?" — GMP #257
When John Taffin coined the phrase "Perfect Packin’ Pistol," or PPP as it has come to be known by many readers, he originally defined it as a double-action or single-action sixgun with a barrel length of 4″ to 5 1/2″. It could be chambered in a cartridge capable of handling any situation. This means a PPP could be chambered in anything from .22 up to one of the various .500s, depending upon one’s environment. Relatively broad, right?
In this episode, Roy Huntington joins host Brent T. Wheat to give his thoughts on what is — and what isn't — a Perfect Packin' Pistol.

TFB Behind the Gun #139: The Proving Grounds with Matt & Dan
In today's episode of TFB's Behind the Gun Podcast, we're bringing on Matt and Dan of The Proving Grounds to discuss what makes their competition special. The Proving Grounds is an athletically focused two-gun match that incorporates elements of 3-gun style target engagement and movement, along with some more athletic firearms competitions like The Tactical Games. Set to take place in two weeks, The Proving Grounds typically is held in the South Carolina Region, specifically at The Sawmill Complex and the Clinton House where competitors are allowed to shoot virtually any caliber of firearm they're comfortable with, and get a chance to engage targets beyond the confines of a pistol bay for that extra added challenge. Today Dan and Matt will share what they love about shooting how they got involved with The Proving Grounds, and why they think you should participate. Please give a warm welcome to Dan & Matt of The Proving Grounds.
