XTech Tactical Launches X-Flare AR-15 Magwell Lineup

Reload speed is often a geometry problem as much as it's a training/repition one, and XTech Tactical thinks it's found a cleaner solution than the billet flare kits that have dominated the category. The new X-Flare 556 and X-Flare Digital are glass-filled nylon magwells built specifically for true Mil-Spec AR-15/M4 lowers, promising a funnel opening 1.75 times larger than what a stock lower offers. Installation is only supposed to take a few minutes and typically skips pulling the trigger guard or grip entirely. Sonic-welded steel inserts handle the fastener loads, and the whole unit reportedly adds only about an ounce - all for $40. The Digital variant builds on that base with a customizable marking surface for caliber ID or personalization, which I’m a huge fan of.

The New LDR2000 B1 From XTech for the Bodyguard 2.0

I am a huge fan of the Bodyguard 2.0 primarily because it conceals well in virtually any situation. One thing I really don’t like about it is that the magazines are notoriously difficult to load, and if you do any amount of practice, a mag loader is going to save your thumbs and fingers for the shooting, as these mags tend not to break in very much over the course of ownership. XTech has just announced the new LDR2000B1, a new addition to the LDR2000 lineup of affordable mag loaders, that is now specifically catered for the Bodyguard 2.0 and other .380 ACP pocket pistols with similar magazine bodies.

XTech Tactical Takes Over Creature Grips

XTech Tactical, an Arizona company that specializes in injection-molded aftermarket magazine accessories and other related parts, has made its first major acquisition by bringing Creature Grips’ heat-venting rail covers into the fold as the rebranded Thru-Flo™ M-LOK Rail Covers. At just 2 grams per cover with tool-free installation, these M-LOK compatible panels address a common AR builder pain point: balancing grip, heat management, and minimal weight. I’ve been testing out a set of these on the new HP-15 that I’ll be using at Moons Out 2026, so we’ll get to put them to the test real soon!

TFB Behind the Gun #174: Cracking The Amazon Code with XTech Tactical

While at GunCon 2025, I had the opportunity to interact with some of the attendees, as well as some of the exhibitors at the event. Jeremy Deadman’s products are probably something you’ve seen floating around here on TFB, as well as your local gun stores. Jeremy and his team at XTech are focused almost entirely on aftermarket magazines and extensions, which gives them quite the advantage when it comes to aftermarket magazines and parts. In this episode, we’ll learn how XTech is making new strides into previously untapped markets to help themselves, and hopefully other gun companies, get more exposure on some of the internet’s most popular online marketplaces like Amazon.
