Wheelgun Wednesday: Smith & Wesson Texas Rangers Bicentennial Revolver
Welcome back to Wheelgun Wednesday, our weekly article series where we cover everything related to revolvers. Today we’ll take a look at a new limited edition custom Smith & Wesson revolver which is a tribute to America’s oldest state law enforcement agency, Texas Rangers, who are celebrating their 200th anniversary. Created in collaboration with Davidson’s, the Smith & Wesson Texas Rangers bicentennial commemorative revolver is an N-Frame six-shooter embellished with engravings and gold inlaid markings and insignia.
Texas Ranger P320: SIG Sauer Releases New Limited-Edition Pistol
The tremendous success of SIG Sauer’s P320 pistols makes it easy to forget that the line has only been available to the public for six years, and was only adopted by the military three years ago. The modular, striker-fired design has quickly become a favorite for many civilian everyday carriers and competition shooters as well as numerous law enforcement agencies, in addition to the US Department of Defense selecting SIG’s M17/M18 to replace the Beretta M9. High-end custom versions produced by the likes of Zev Tech and Wilson Combat serve to further solidify the P320’s place in the industry. Building on the line’s continued growth, SIG announced a new Texas Ranger-themed limited edition version in a July 10th press release. It reads:
