SILENCER SATURDAY #324: Countries Where The Suppressors Roam Free
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to TFB’s Silencer Saturday brought to you by Yankee Hill Machine, manufacturers of the brand new YHM 338 Bad Larry Suppressor. Last week Pete discussed suppressors with defined borders. This week I am taking over, in Pete’s absence, and the subject is countries where the suppressors roam free, with a focus on the “suppressor” belt in the Nordic.
POTD: The SAI GR-22 & GR-9 Suppressed Rifles
Photo Of The Day – the best online place to view the coolest images of firearms. When I was younger (a lot younger), every boy knew the ArmaLite AR-7 was the good-to-go thing to have if you survived a crash landing, and had to protect yourself against dangerous predators and get food. I guess we never thought about the issues about firearm permits and getting them on board the plane, yes it was a time of few worries. Fast forward to today, and we have the SAI GR-22 & GR-9 rifles made by SAI in Denmark. I think the calibers are kind of self-explanatory – .22LR and 9×19 mm. The suppressor system is integrated with a suppressor casing made of carbon tube (.22LR) or aluminum (9 mm).
POTD: Suppressed IWI Tavor and B&T APC9
POTD, short for Photo Of The Day, is TFB’s recurring articles where we try to find the best pictures out there.
SAI CSR-50: Compact .50 BMG Rifle made in Denmark
CSR-50 is a very compact single-shot bolt action anti-materiel rifle chambered in .50 BMG. It is manufactured by a Danish company called SAI (Small Arms Industries). It is actually a bullpup rifle, which manages to fit a 28.4″ (720 mm) barrel in an overall length of 38.6″ (980 mm). The rifle is also very lightweight weighing less than 22 lbs (9.8 kg).
Salient Arms International SHOT Show 2015
At Media Day at the Range, SAI showed off their new products for 2015. Specifically their AR 2.0 Jailbreak and their new pistol, from the ground up, SAI BLU.
