James Reeves is at the Nighthawk Custom Booth at TriggrCon 2023 checking out their latest addition to the Boardroom series of handguns – the BDS9. The Nighthawk Custom BDS9 (Boardroom Double Stack 9mm) is a high-performance pistol designed for competitive shooters. It features a tri-cut angle top slide with lightening ports for faster cycling and comes with an Interchangeable Optics System (IOS) for iron sights or a red dot optic, a tough anodized black billet aluminum grip, and of course, the love and care that goes into every Nighthawk Custom pistol.

Korth in tandem with their sole importer Nighthawk custom have released their latest addition to their revolver lineup – the NXA revolver. This new revolver is 6 oz lighter than their previously released NXS revolver. The revolver makes use of lightweight materials and also features a changeable cylinder so you can use the far more common 9mm ammunition as opposed to .357 Magnum. In this episode of TFBTV’s #NRAAM2019 coverage, James meets with representatives from boutique uber-manufacturer, Nighthawk, to looks at the newest member of the Nighthawk 1911 lineup – the Nighthawk Firehawk 1911. James and Nighthawk also look at Nighthawk’s new means of attaching a red dot optic to the slides of Nighthawk’s 1911 modelss.

SHOT show always boasts a wide assortment of new gear, with 2018 being no exception.  Visiting the Nighthawk booth a particular pistol stood out with its new collaboration between Nighthawk, Hillbilly 223, and Agency Arms. These companies came together to produce the Agent 2. The Agent 1 was Agency’s first collaboration with Nighthawk Custom Firearms announced last year at the NRA Annual Meeting in 2017. A conservative amount of only 50 units were made as they were a limited edition production. The Agent 1 is a 1911 in a Commander size frame and chambered in 9mm.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Agency Arms event out at the Las Vegas Pro Gun Club. There were some other manufacturers there letting invitees to shoot some of their guns along with a selection of Agency Arms’ line of pistols.

My friend Greg sent this to me. His friend had a Nighthawk 1911 chambered in 10mm. He said it was the most accurate handgun he has ever shot. Until it exploded.

Big news for fans of fine wheel guns: Nighthawk Custom has partnered with Korth to bring their legendary revolvers to the US market. Finally, Korths will be imported with the full manufacturing support of a stateside officially sanctioned importer. The Browning Hi Power is considered by many to the be epitome of the 9mm semi-automatic pistol. It was designed by none other than John Moses Browning in 1914, a few years after he designed the 1911. The name “Hi-Power” refers to its 13 round double-stacked magazines. Other pistols at that time were about half the capacity so these magazines were considered to be high capacity.
