Henry Repeating Arms has joined forces with Big Woods Bucks (BWB) to create a pragmatic, simple, and extremely useful new lever-action rifle for all of us that should be perfect for whitetail deer hunting and other medium-sized game: the new H14 Long Ranger Big Woods Carbine in .308 Win/7.62x51 NATO.

Attending the SHOT Show 2024, Bond Arms unveiled updates to two of its firearms. The first is an updated version of their LVRB tactical lever-action rifle, and the second is a new variant of their Cyclops big-bore derringer.

The Marlin 1894 returns! Ruger have reintroduced the classic Marlin 1894. Chambered in .44 Rem Mag, the new 1894 Classic sports a beautifully-finished American black walnut straight stock and forend. The rifle is made from alloy steel and has a 20 inch cold hammer-forged barrel. The rifle’s tubular magazine that will hold 10 rounds of .44 Magnum ammunition, or 11 rounds of .44 Special.

There’s always a lot of new products at SHOT Show but its rare you’re genuinely surprised to come across something. I stopped by the Bond Arms booth, a company renowned for their myriad of Derringer models, and was met by something that immediately grabbed my attention – the new Bond Arms Lever Action.

When you hear “lever-action rifle”, you probably think about Winchester, Marlin or Henry …maybe also Volcanic or even Colt, but I bet never Smith & Wesson. However, there is such thing as a Smith & Wesson lever-action rifle and one of three such guns known to exist will be auctioned in the upcoming Rock Island Premier Gun Auction.

Uberti U.S.A announces the Dalton, an 1873 Single Action Army pistol based on a pistol custom ordered for the outlaw Bob Dalton. With intricate engraving, a beautiful blued finish, and simulated pearl grips it’s sure to turn heads. Uberti’s new Courteney stalking rifle is one of the first commercial rifles to be chambered in .303 British since WW2. Built on an 1885 lever action, this is a unique hunting rifle with a refined British style. 

At the First World Shoot Rifle in Russia there were some interesting firearms, some more unique than others.

Remember the Midwest Industries M-LOK Handguard we posted about last month for the Henry lever action rifle in 45-70? Well it looks like someone at the Henry Repeating Arms company saw it, because at NRAAM 2018 in Dallas they showed off their X series concept lever action rifle and shotgun which use the new Midwest Industries handguard.

Henry Repeating Arms announced a new series of rifles that espouse the company’s views on patriotism and the United States of America. Called the Patriot Series, there are three guns that are part of the initial roll out. Two are based on the Golden Boy rifle, and the third is based on the Big Boy. The suggested retail pricing starts at $1,208.

Rock Island Auction Company’s May 2017 Premiere Auction started on May 5 and ended on May 7. Among the main and iconic lots of this auction were Elvis Presley’s revolvers. The King’s guns were sold at world record prices both for the Colt Python and S&W Model 19-2 revolvers.
