EOTECH Reveals Counter-Drone Holographic Sight
EOTECH has announced the HWS CUAS (Counter Unmanned Aircraft Sight), a new holographic weapon sight purpose-built for rapid engagement of both stationary and moving unmanned aircraft. The platform arrives as small, low-cost drones proliferate globally and present documented threats to military installations, personnel, and critical infrastructure. Available in two configurations, EXPS3 and XPS3, the CUAS features a sophisticated aiming reticle designed specifically around drone engagement geometry.
EOTech Factory Tour Part 2 – Manufacturing And Range Test
Last week I posted part one of EOTech’s factory tour. In part two we will take a look behind the curtain at how EOTech’s Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS) are manufactured. After the factory tour we were taken out to a local range to test some of their products.
EOTech Factory Tour Part 1 – EOTech History And HWS Systems
For the first time ever, EOTech opened its factory doors in Ann Arbor Michigan to the media. We were invited to attend this unprecedented event and got to learn what made EOTech one of the top optic companies used by US Military and see how they make their flag ship Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS) as well as what changes they made since the Thermal Drift issue.

In (Small) Defense of EOTech – Thermal Drift in Trijicon MRO
L-3 Communication’s EOTech division is currently going through the PR ringer for the thermal drift found in their (previously) phenomenally popular Holographic Weapon Systems. After USSOCOM released a Safety of Use Message to all its commands ( which was leaked publicly) the backlash has been extreme. EOTech has informally recalled all their optics (for full refunds) and
EOTech Laser Battery Cap for the EOTech 500 Series Holographic Weapon Sight
EOTech Laser Battery Cap (LBC) is an unique product. I would call it more of an add-on module than just a cap. The EOTech LBC replaces the AA battery compartment on the EOTech 512, 552 holographic weapon sights (HWS) and the latest 518 and 558 model with build-in riser w/ QD lever. It’s also available pre-installed with the 552 model.
