On today’s episode, we’ve brought back our good friend Dave from Hi-Point Firearms to talk a bit about some upcoming competitions, fun firearm movies, and, of course, what Hi-Point has been up to and what we can expect to see from them in the coming weeks leading up to and including SHOT Show 2026. Dave has been with Hi-Point for years and is intimately involved with not only the marketing side of things at Hi-Point, but also keeps in close proximity to the rest of the company, so he’s usually a great source for what's new out there in Mansfield, Ohio. Although he works for a company that specializes in low-cost firearms, his personal tastes in firearms couldn’t be further divorced from his day job, so today we’ll also hear what one of Hi-Point's finest is running at competitions and range days.

Luke C ( BallisticAviation) is at GunCon 2025 hosted by TheGunCollective, and in this video, he's speaking with the legendary Dave K from Hi-Point Firearms. Hi-Point made waves at SHOT 2025 by announcing their all-new AR-15 lineup with the announcement of the HP-15, which is set to be fully released in mid-July. In addition, sister company Inland Manufacturing has just unveiled their latest suppressor - the 5.7x28mm rated AM-22.

BallisticAviation  (Luke C.) is with Hoplopfheil at NRAAM 2025 in Atlanta, GA, speaking with Dave from Hi-Point firearms about a first for the company: AR-15s. Hi-Point's new HP-15 AR-15s will come in both 10.5" pistol and 16" rifle configurations and will be chambered in .300 BLK as well as 5.56. Best of all, Hi-Point's new line of AR-15s already has new configurations in the works and will be sold in either configuration for less than $500.

Explore Hi-Point's latest additions to their firearm lineup: the 995P, 4595P, and 1095P large-format pistols. These models offer the reliability of Hi-Point's carbines in a compact pistol format, featuring threaded barrels, Picatinny rails for accessories, and compatibility with pistol braces. Hi-Point’s range of pistols got a little bigger, both figuratively and literally. These three new models are pistols derived from the Hi-Point carbines and are ready to accept a stabilizing brace. All three have features we have come to expect from the carbine models, like fiber optic sights and a ghost ring rear sight.
