The advanced polymer-coating that CCI deploys coupled with freaky fast velocities like Jimmy Johns makes for a great round for plinking. Plus, your silencers will thank you with it being a polymer-coated bullet. Now, the CCI Clean-22 HV (Hyper Velocity) offering is not only in production and shipping, but it is actively available for purchase directly off of CCI’s website.

Speer and CCI ammunition have just announced two new ammunition offerings that will be heavily showcased at SHOT Show 2023. However, in advance of the show, they’ve released all the information you could ask for on these two new ammunition products including CCI’s new polymer-coated Clean-22 Hypervelocity and Speer’s new Gold Dot G2 Carbine 135-gr ammo. Speer has one of the most well-trusted names when it comes to personal defense ammunition and CCI shares similar fame when it comes to reliable and accurate rimfire ammunition.

With the dawn of a New Year, it means lots of new products related to the firearms industry for gun lovers like ourselves. It’s like Christmas 2.0 as we see the cascade of new products announced and are contemplating whether we really need two kidneys or not (could probably get by with just one, right). One of the 1st new product announcements to come from Vista Outdoors is Clean-22 Realtree rimfire ammo specifically from CCI. This offering of ammunition utilizes their polymer bullets for a cleaner shooting experience with a unique twist. You can read the complete list of specifications below as presented by CCI:

Varmint hunters that use 22 WMR now have a new choice from CCI Ammunition. The new CCI Maxi-Mag Clean-22 .22WMR ammo uses a 46 gr. Segmented Hollow Point (SHP) bullet designed to transfers as much energy to the target as possible. To reduce the amount of cleaning you have to do afterwards, the bullet has a polymer coating that CCI claims greatly reduces copper and lead fouling in your barrel, without leaving any residues.

Who doesn’t enjoy shooting suppressed .22s? Terrifically quiet, smooth and easy-shooting, and far less expensive to blow through rounds than probably any other gun you own except a Daisy Red Ryder. Tons of people enjoy hushed plinking for fun, and many shooters also use .22 firearms for more purposed endeavors like small varmint hunting and rimfire competitions. CCI has announced about the release of their new Clean-22 rimfire (.22 LR) ammunition which is specially designed to reduce the lead fouling and build up. While everyone will benefit from this feature, it should be especially important for those of you who shoot suppressed rimfire guns.
