New Signature LRF 2000 Rangefinder from Burris Optics
Rangefinders are great for a number of different uses outdoors but here at TFB we mostly use them for measuring the distance to targets. While there are already a ton of great options on the market, more options are always better and that’s why Burris Optics is excited to announce its first handheld laser rangefinder with the introduction of the new Signature LRF 2000.
Burris SpeedBead – Shotgun Vent Rib Red Dot Mount
With the new Burris SpeedBead Vent Rib Mount, you can turn your shotgun into a dynamic hunting tool without any drilling or tapping. According to Burris, their new mount makes it easy to attach and secure any FastFire Series Red Dots, to let you shoot clays, waterfowl, upland birds, and turkeys faster and more accurately. According to the list of features, the red dot will always be centered on the rib and gun when mounted, with no play left or right. There are rib adapters included in the package, to fit multiple rib widths. The MSRP for the new mount is $60.
RED HOT! Three Thermal Optics from Burris
Burris Optics has released three new thermal optics: the Thermal Handheld (BTH), Clip-On (BTC) and Scope (BTS). Some of the features include Hot Track, Multiple Reticles, Multiple Color Palates, Video Recording and Wifi-to-Mobile. Listing all the technical data for all the versions is difficult in an article like this, but you can find clickable direct links in the text below where all the details should be available for your convenience. Basically, there are 35mm and 50mm objective versions of each model.
[TFB GUNFEST] Burris Optics Presents Three New Red Dot Sights
Colorado-based Burris Optics turns a whopping 50 years old this year, having been founded in 1971. For many old-school hunters, scopes like those of Burris’ venerable Fullfield series often get mentioned in the same breath as icons of yesteryear such as Weaver and Redfield. From their half-century history, Burris lays claim to some industry firsts, including the first US-made scopes with multi-coated lenses, the first Scout-style scope, and the first variable-power handgun scope. While they still offer current versions of some of those classic optics types, they also produce some more modern offerings as well. At TFB and TFBTV’s GunFest 2021, Burris came to discuss three such pieces.
