What a delight! TFB’s Photo Of The Day with a U.S. Marine with the M27 Reconnaissance Weapons Kit (RWK) variant of the M27 / HK416 with an 11.0” barrel, EOTech EXPS and a PEQ-16 laser.
“A U.S. Marine Corps explosive ordnance disposal specialist assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, engages simulated targets during a live-fire deck shoot on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock USS Somerset (LPD 25) in the Pacific Ocean June 26, 2024. Somerset and embarked elements of the 15th MEU are conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.”
