Do you own a Benelli M2? Are you feeling an irresistible urge to trick it out with some much-needed accessories, but you don’t know where to start? Mesa Tactical has a good idea of where you should start, with their new Truckee forend now available for this tactical shotgun, allowing attachment of all sorts of add-ons.

Mesa Tactical @ TFB:

The Truckee design

Why upgrade to this forend, when your shotgun has a perfectly usable piece of furniture? Because Mesa Tactical’s design has M-LOK slots running along both sides and integrated into the bottom of their Truckee forend. You can easily use these slots to attach weapon lights, slings, grips, or other useful accessories to your shotgun. Almost every tactical upgrade has an M-LOK attachment available these days, so the Truckee forend really is the foundation of a very practical and easy build.

The Truckee forend is machined from a single piece of aluminum; the end caps are made of glass-filled nylon. It can be attached with no specialized gunsmithing tools needed, or any other tools, with no finicky bolts or screws waiting to back out or over-tighten and strip. And it’s entirely made in the U.S., with a lifetime warranty. See more details on that warranty here.

Mitch Barrie, the big boss at Mesa Tactical said the company’s first M-LOK Truckee forend was built for the Benelli M4 in 2019. Making a similar upgrade for the M2 made sense: “Since then, everyone has been asking, ‘What about the Benelli M2 shotgun? How come no love for the Benelli M2?’ Well, we heard you loud and clear. Finally, with this new Truckee forend, Benelli M2 owners can attach M-LOK accessories to their shotguns. We hope you’re happy!”

The M2 Truckee forend is in production now, with an MSRP of $149.95. You can order it directly from the Mesa Tactical website if you wish; see more details here.

Those types of shell holders on a Benelli M2 will cause malfunctions with the inertia recoil system..
