MDT has a new version of the JAE chassis for sale, the JAE-G5. This new model adds features like a bolt-on Arca rail and adjustable barricade stop. It is loaded with features like a rubber gasket inside the stock that dampens the recoil and locations for weights inside the forend.

Chassis Systems @ TFB:

Customization is the name of the game with the JAE-G5. It is adjustable for length of pull and cheek rest height. MDT also includes two pistol grip options, one more vertical and one more angled. The customization doesn’t stop there, even the positioning and latching of the magazine are adjustable. At this time the JAE-G5 is only available for receivers with the Remington 700 short action footprint.

The JAE-G5 is available for order now and retails for $1,399.95.

From the manufacturer:

“Since it’s inception in November 2005 the JAE has built a reputation for being one of the most eye-catching precision chassis available. Multiple versions and improvements over the years have turned it into force to be reckoned with in the competition shooting space, offering many features and adjustment options that were ahead of it’s time. Today, we are continuing that legacy with the MDT JAE-G5 Chassis System, furthering it’s title as the ultimate stock style competition chassis.

How a rifle fits and feels can be the difference between a win or lose in competition. The MDT JAE-G5 Chassis offers extensive adjustment options such as the barricade stop position, magazine latch height, cheek rest height, and length-of-pull. It also comes with both a vertical and angled grip for optimal hand positioning.”
