Heritage Manufacturing Range Side 410 Bore Lever Guns (1)

Heritage Manufacturing are expanding their line of lever action firearms with the introduction of the Range Side series. These new lever guns are chambered in 410 Bore which should mean they are shotguns but Heritage Manufacturing call them rifles, so maybe these are slug guns? That’s why I decided to use a neutral term – lever gun.

Heritage Manufacturing @ TFB:

Heritage Manufacturing Range Side Black

Introducing the Heritage Mfg. Range Side Lever Action Rifle – a timeless companion for the contemporary westerner.

This rifle merges the nostalgia of the Old West with the demands of modern precision, making it a must-have. The Heritage Range Side is designed to feel like an extension of yourself; its balanced weight and robust construction mean it’s always ready and reliable, from the first light of dawn to the setting sun.

At the heart of the Heritage Range Side is a beautifully crafted walnut stock and forend, which not only enhance its classic appeal but also provide durable, steadfast performance under any condition. Its multiple finish options allow for personalization while maintaining the rugged functionality needed on the range or in the field. This rifle features a brass bead front sight that offers quick and accurate targeting, ideal for fast-moving scenarios. The lever is thoughtfully wrapped in leather, ensuring a comfortable, secure grip as you cycle through the .410 bore rounds—perfect for a variety of shooting activities, from target practice to small game hunting.

Perfect for the rancher who values history and the sportsman who demands performance, the Heritage Manufacturing Range Side Lever Action Rifle is more than just a firearm—it’s a part of your journey, a tool in your hand, and a constant by your side on the wide-open range.

Heritage Manufacturing Range Side Case Hardened

There are three flavors of these new Heritage Manufacturing lever guns currently available: Range Side Black which has a black chrome finish of metal parts, Range Side Case Hardened which features a case-hardened finish, and the Range Side Nickel with a nickel finish. Other than the differences in finishes, all three Range Side lever guns have the same specs: five-round magazines, 20″ barrels with 3″ chambers, firing pin safeties, walnut furniture, adjustable rear and bead front sights, an overall length of 38.2″ and an empty weight of 102.4 oz.

Let us know in the comments section what you think about these new lever action firearms. Are there other 410 Bore lever guns that you’d rather opt for? If yes, which ones and why?

Is the barrel rifled? If not, how is it choked? Questions….

@Hoyden The nickel finish one says that it's got 6 grooves under the tech specs. The black and case hardened models don't say that, so who knows with them.

I wonder how many unnecessary safeties Heritage glommed onto it? Hard pass for me.
