A Budget, Modular, Tactical Lever Gun

James Reeves is at IWA 2024 talking to the HugTek reps about their new tactical lever gun. This is a gun that is made in-house by HugTek, who also perform the surface coating in addition to the milling, machining, and assembly. It’s a surprisingly solid lever action that’s good-looking and modular, with plenty of M-LOK, places to mount accessories on the stock and handguard, and even interchangeable furniture. Best of all, it should be in the $300-dollar-range.

Too bad they didn’t do anything creative with that grip angle. All this is, is a clone of an R92 which is a clone of the Winchester 92.

Guys. We just want threaded barrels with tapped receivers. We want them in .357. Some wierdos like myself want one in .327. At my local SOT, the space cowboy stuff rots on the shelf, while dudes walk in every single day to ask for a regular threaded .357, but they seem scarce and hard to get. Except the R92. Which of course doesn’t come with traditional wood and has the goofy oversized lever.
