New RDSMicro MOA3 Red Dot from Warner & Swasey

The Warner & Swasey name returns to the world of firearm optics with the RDSMicro MOA3 red dot sight. It features a proprietary 1.54″ mount, as well as integral backup iron sights on top of the optic. The RDSMicro MOA3 is exclusivley sold by Geissele.

More Optics @ TFB:

If Warner & Swasey sounds familiar, they produced a scope for the M1903 Springfield which saw use in World War 1. This optic is not produced by the original company, but Warner & Swasey is a trademark that ties back to Geissele. Though the RDSMicro differs from its namesake scope, it has a certain squareish-ness that ties back to the original.
The retail price is $125, which includes the mount. It operates on a single (standard) 2032 battery for up to 20,000 hours. As the name implies, the RDSMicro MOA3 features a 3-MOA dot reticle. Windage and elevation adjustments are external and have a recessed slot for a flathead screwdriver or any other similarly-sized tool.
The RDSMicro MOA3 is available now and is in stock as of the time of writing.

This optic is pretty much a variation of the SwampFox Kraken, CHPWS DUTY, CYLEE Bear, and various others. They all have same specs for most part, share the same footprint and similar bodies with modifications to differentiate them. More than likely all come from the same OEM Shanghai Changhong Optoelectronics.

@Peashoot The CHPWS is Acro footprint. At least, that's what they said when I asked them about it.

W&S should of consulted with Trijicon RMRcc's Chief Engineer and Program Mgr first and they would of quickly learned that having a proprietary mounting pattern could easily kill a new product.
