ppl are trashtalking as if their are hand-forged bladesmiths selling toptier products for 50bucks or less. Tzzz! No matter what this "D2" called steal might be a crap - an outdoor knife can be some low chromium stainless steel, good enaugh for batoning wood and working in wet conditions. whats more funny is, that I yet have to see any blademaker offering other colors than black-oxidation finishes - like their cerakoted tan and od green. Rest of the world pays for energy costs a little bit more than the US, so I dont mind their price tag for some thick spinned blade. Off we go, another episode of FiF :D
People trash talking D2 have not owned a decent D2 knife. I prefer my D2 HHA knives over anything else I own for hard use. No idea if HB is any good? These are probably manufactured in volume but a good custom can be found for $400 but Austrian D2 makes good blades.
